Product Information

Name:
Amitriptyline-d3 hydrochloride solution
Controlled Product
Description:

Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Amitriptyline is metabolized by glucuronidation, which is catalyzed by β-glucuronidase. A solution of amitriptyline-d3 hydrochloride can be used to monitor the glucuronidation process. This solution contains an internal standard that allows for accurate quantitation of glucuronides and provides a means for detecting any interference from endogenous substances. The analytical test is used to determine the concentration of an analyte in biological samples by measuring its rate of reaction with an enzyme substrate.
