Product Information
BDP 5290 is a growth factor that has been shown to inhibit the phosphorylation of ROCK2, which is a protein involved in cancer cell migration and proliferation. BDP 5290 also increases the contractility of cardiomyocytes, which may be beneficial for patients with heart failure. It has been shown to have anticancer effects against primary tumors and cancer cells that are resistant to other treatments. BDP 5290 binds to the kinase domain of ROCK2, inhibiting its dephosphorylation, thereby stopping tumor cell proliferation. It also inhibits the phosphorylation of RhoA at Serine-19 and blocks the formation of actin stress fibers by interfering with the RhoA/ROCK pathway.
