Takiceram is an aluminium salt that is used in the production of takifloxacin. It is a crystalline substance with a molecular formula of AlCl3·6H2O and has a melting point of 814°C. Takiceram has been shown to be toxic to humans and animals, but it can be used as a model system for studying the effects of low-dose radiation on cells. The compound has been shown to inhibit locomotor activity in rats, but not in mice. In addition, it may have an effect on thermal expansion and water permeability. Takiceram is also used as a model system for studying the effects of magnesium salts on cellular metabolism and lactate production.
