Product Information
Micheliolide is a sesquiterpene lactone that has been shown to have anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and immunosuppressive activities. Micheliolide inhibits the production of inflammatory proteins by inhibiting Toll-like receptor 4 signaling pathways in addition to inhibiting the activation of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB). Micheliolide also inhibits mitochondrial membrane potential and suppresses the lps-induced inflammatory response in macrophages. This compound also has inhibitory effects on liver steatosis and bowel diseases. It is a natural compound that has been shown to be effective against cancer cells through its ability to inhibit cell proliferation and induce apoptosis.
