2,3-Diphenylpiperazine is an aromatic heterocyclic compound with the chemical formula C₃H₁₀N₄. It is a colorless liquid with a boiling point of approximately 150°C and a density of 1.07 g/mL at 20°C. 2,3-Diphenylpiperazine is obtained by the reaction of ethylene glycol dimethyl ether (1) with sulfur (2) in the presence of copper salts as catalyst. The yield depends on the temperature and pressure used during the reaction.
