Z-DL-Phg-NHMe is a chemical compound that has been shown to cause regression of human breast cancer xenografts in animals. The drug was also found to have no effect on the weight of the fetus and induced only anisotropic changes in the placenta. In addition, Z-DL-Phg-NHMe does not seem to be infectious. This chemical compound is not used as an additive in automotive plastics, but is used as a component in unexpanded polystyrene.
