Description:

C75 is a chemical compound that inhibits the activity of fatty acid synthase. It is an irreversible inhibitor and binds to the α subunit of the enzyme, preventing it from carrying out its role in synthesizing fatty acids. C75 has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells, such as those from breast cancer with high levels of Her2 protein and hepatic steatosis. C75 also reverses liver damage in mice by inhibiting the production of fatty acids, which are involved in chronic metabolic disease.
