Product Information
4-(3-Fluoro-4-nitrophenyl)morpholine is a fluorinated phenylmorpholine that has been shown to have antifungal and antibacterial activities. It has been found to be a potent and selective inhibitor of the enzyme acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS), which is responsible for the synthesis of the plant hormone indole-3-acetic acid (IAA). 4-(3-Fluoro-4-nitrophenyl)morpholine inhibits the production of IAA, leading to decreased growth of microorganisms in vitro. The catalytic activity of this compound is also very high, with a turnover number of over 100.
