Product Information
S-Acetyl-PEG6-tos is a cell permeable, non-cytotoxic, and highly selective activator of Kv1.3 channels with high affinity for the channel. S-Acetyl-PEG6-tos is an inhibitor of Kv1.3 channels with IC50 of 1 nM. It has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the phosphorylation of Akt by blocking the activation of Protein kinase A (PKA) and protein kinase C (PKC). This compound has been used as a research tool for studying ion channels and ligand binding, as well as for investigating protein interactions.
