Neodymium(III) isopropoxide (Nd(OiPr)3) is a reactive compound that contains the neodymium metal. It has a hydrochloric acid salt, which can be used as a structure formula. In this compound, the hydroxyl group forms an ester with chloride. The chloride atom reacts with the ring-opening of the ester to form an alcohol and chloride ions. This reaction produces nmr spectra, which are seen in the neodymium metal. The polymerization of Nd(OiPr)3 occurs by means of a catalyst and carbonyl groups that are functionalized. These groups are found in group p2.
