Description:

The sodium salts of 2-dodecen-1-ylsuccinic anhydride are reactive and used in the synthesis of a number of organic compounds. They are used in the preparation of polyester, polyurethane, and polycarbonate plastics. In addition, they have shown to be biodegradable and can be degraded by water vapor or inulin. This chemical is also used to synthesize monocarboxylic acids that are low energy and filamentous fungus.
