Lucidone is a p-hydroxybenzoic acid derivative with significant cytotoxic effects. It has been shown to have antiinflammatory activity, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α. Lucidone also inhibits the transcriptional regulation of genes involved in metabolic disorders and has been shown to have potential anticancer activity. The crystalline cellulose was prepared by preparative hplc. A biological sample was used for the molecular docking analysis.
