Product Information
Methyl 3-amino-3-(2-methoxy phenyl)propanoate hydrochloride is a biodiesel that is used for the production of glycol ethers. It is also used in the preparation of dextran sulfate, which has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. The main use of methyl 3-amino-3-(2-methoxyphenyl)propanoate hydrochloride is as a component in phorbol esters, which are used in chemical biology and cytosolic calcium assay experiments. This compound has been shown to inhibit prostate cancer cells and may be effective against other types of cancer cells as well. Methyl 3-amino-3-(2-methoxyphenyl)propanoate hydrochloride can be synthesized by reacting caproic acid with hydroxyl group, which makes it an excellent candidate for use as a renewable fuel source.
