6-Bromo-1,2,4-triazin-3-amine is an inhibitor of the c-MET kinase that can be used for the treatment of cancer. 6-Bromo-1,2,4-triazin-3-amine inhibits the activation of the c-MET and other kinases by interfering with their ability to bind to ATP. 6BTA inhibits tumor cell proliferation through inhibition of crosstalk between growth factor receptors and downstream signaling pathways. It has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in vivo and in vitro.
