1-(1H-Pyrrole-2-carbonyl)-1H-1,2,3-benzotriazole is an indole that is used in organic chemistry. It can be obtained by the cyclization of 1-(1H-pyrrole-2-carbonyl)imidazole with various reagents. The synthesis of this compound can be achieved through a reaction between 3,4,5-trichloroisonicotinic acid and 2,4-dichlorobenzaldehyde. This compound has been shown to react with phenyl isocyanate to produce benzotriazoles when heated at 180 °C. 1-(1H-Pyrrole-2-carbonyl)-1H-1,2,3 benzotriazole has also been shown to react with imidazole and isothiocyanates.
