Product Information
Ligupurpuroside C is a phenylpropanoid glycoside that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory activity in vitro. Ligupurpuroside C has also been shown to have regulatory effects on the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and the lipid metabolism of adipose tissue, which may be due to its ability to inhibit lipoprotein lipase and enhance lipoprotein synthesis. This compound has been shown to improve insulin resistance in high fat diet-fed hamsters, possibly through the inhibition of hepatic glucose production.
