Product Information
1-Amino-2,4-dibromonaphthalene is a stable ligand that can bind copper. It has been used as a starting material for the synthesis of other copper complexes and to study the binding of copper to ligands. The equimolar mixture of 1-naphthylamine and 1-amino-2,4-dibromonaphthalene was used in desolvation studies by single crystal X-ray diffraction at high pressures and optimized with pressure variation. The ligand is also a useful starting material for organic synthesis, such as the preparation of octahydroindole derivatives.
