Description:

Diphenyltin Sulfide is a biodegradable polymer that contains β-unsaturated ketones and hydroxyl groups. It can be synthesized from the reaction of diphenyltin dichloride with diols, such as 1,2-diphenylethane. The crosslinking rate of this polymer can be controlled by varying the ratio of monomer to initiator. Diphenyltin sulfide is also functionalized with carboxylic acid groups and an isopropyl group. This polymer has been shown to have high efficiency in a number of organic solvents, including chloroform, ethyl acetate, and acetonitrile due to its vibrational and stereoselective properties.
