Description:
4-Butylcyclohexanol is a colorless, volatile liquid with a pleasant odor. It can be found in Australian eucalyptus oil and is used as an insecticide. 4-Butylcyclohexanol is also used in the synthesis of other chemicals such as sulfoxide, methyl ethers, and ethers. The production of this chemical requires acetone, anhydride, and chemistry knowledge. 4-Butylcyclohexanol can also be synthesized from methylthiomethyl alcohols and dimethyl sulfoxide.
