Description:
N,N-Bis-(2-hydroxyethyl)-4-pyridinecarboxamide is a quaternary ammonium salt that can be used as a crosslinker. It is also used in the production of polyurethane elastomers and coatings for wood. N,N-Bis-(2-hydroxyethyl)-4-pyridinecarboxamide is an effective hydration agent, which allows water molecules to penetrate the polymer matrix. This product has been shown to be an effective quaternizing agent for butanediol and can also be used as a diphenylmethane extender.
