Product Information
Cerium(IV) sulfate hydrate, REacton (REO) is a water-soluble inorganic compound that belongs to the group of isomorphous materials. It is used as a catalyst in oxidation reactions and found in perovskite solar cells. Cerium(IV) sulfate hydrate, REacton (REO) has been shown to be stable at elevated temperatures and can be used for the production of hydrogen sulfate from sulfuric acid solution. The preparation process involves mixing cerium oxide with sulfuric acid and an activator such as sodium nitrate. This produces cerium(IV) sulfate hydrate, REacton (REO). This material contains only one type of ion, which is a sulfate group. The average size of this material is 0.8 micrometers and it can be tracked using TEM techniques.
