4-Benzyloxyphenylmagnesium bromide is a synthetic compound that can be synthesised in a scalable manner. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria by binding to chloride ions, which are essential for bacterial growth and replication. 4-Benzyloxyphenylmagnesium bromide has also been shown to have bronchodilatory effects by increasing the levels of cAMP in the lungs, which leads to relaxation of airway muscles.
