Product Information
Clobenpropit dihydrobromide is an acetylcholine receptor antagonist that is used in the treatment of prostate cancer. It has been shown to inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis in prostate cancer cells, as well as inhibit the growth of du-145 cells. Clobenpropit dihydrobromide also induces antibody production by T-cells and enhances the immune response. Clobenpropit dihydrobromide binds to histamine receptors, causing a non-selective cation influx into cells. This leads to the opening of voltage-gated calcium channels on the cell membrane, which triggers an immune reaction against cancerous cells.
