Product Information
Secoisolariciresinol is a type of flavonoid that can be found in the seeds of Linum usitatissimum. It has been shown to inhibit the enzymatic reaction that converts linoleic acid to arachidonic acid, which is an important step in the production of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, which are involved in inflammation. Secoisolariciresinol also has been shown to have estrogen-like activity and is a dietary source of isoflavones.
