OSU-T315 is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit the growth of leukemia cells in animal models. It also induces autophagy and apoptosis in leukemia cells without affecting normal, healthy cells. OSU-T315 binds to the surface of cancerous cells and triggers an immune response by activating toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). OSU-T315 may be used to treat autoimmune diseases, such as multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as meningiomas.
