It has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the growth of colorectal adenocarcinoma cells, as well as cancer cell lines from other tissues. This compound also has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to inhibit skin cancer. PTP CD45 Inhibitor binds to the catalytic domain of PTP-CD45 and inhibits dephosphorylation of tyrosine residues on protein substrates, which prevents cellular activation, growth arrest, and apoptosis.
