Description:
Benzyldi-1-adamantylphosphine (BDPP) is a ligand that is used in organic synthesis. It is used as a cross-coupling reagent to form carbon-carbon bonds by the coupling of two organic molecules. BDPP also has the ability to catalyze the desymmetrization and stereoselective cross-coupling reactions. The magnesium salt of BDPP is most commonly used for these reactions, but other salts such as copper(I) chloride can be used.
