2-Hydrazinotetrazole is an organic compound that can be synthesized from 2-amino-5-nitrotetrazole and hydrazine. The 2H-tetrazol-2-ylacetic acid (TZ) isomer has been shown to have resonance at 3.9 ppm. It also has a chemical shift of 3.3 ppm, which corresponds to the methylene groups in the molecule. When observed by magnetic resonance spectroscopy, it displays a doublet of triplets with an intensity ratio of 1:1:1. This indicates that there are three distinct isomers with different orientations in space, which correspond to the E, Z, and EZ isomers.
