Description

Pirazolac is a pharmacological agent that may be used for the treatment of various diseases. Pirazolac, an analog of prostaglandin E-2, is a phosphoprotein with an active ester group at the terminal amino acid. It has been shown to reduce symptoms and disease activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Pirazolac has also been shown to reduce choroidal neovascularization in mice models of eye diseases such as age-related macular degeneration. This drug may have a role in repairing damage caused by cancer, metabolic disorders, or skin cancer.
