Camaric acid is a compound found in the plant Lippia pomala. It has been shown to have inhibitory activities on casein kinase and chloride channels, as well as anti-leishmanial activity. Camaric acid was also shown to have inhibitory effects on polymerase chain reactions and chemometric analysis of NMR spectra. This study provides predictive models for camaric acid that could be used in drug development.
