Description:
N-Desmethyl-N-cyclopentyl tadalafil is an inhibitor of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (PDE) 5. It inhibits the breakdown of cGMP, which promotes vasodilation and erectile function by increasing blood flow to the penis. N-Desmethyl-N-cyclopentyl tadalafil has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of PDE5 with IC50 values in the low nanomolar range.
