Product Information

Name:
Trans (2,3)-dihydro tetrabenazine
Description:

Tetrabenazine is a drug that is used to treat hyperactivity and other symptoms of Tourette's syndrome. Tetrabenazine has been shown to be effective in the treatment of chronic exposure, body mass index, gamma-aminobutyric acid, and symptoms of Tourette's syndrome. Clinical studies have shown that tetrabenazine can produce significant improvements in patients with Tourette's syndrome. Tetrabenazine works by inhibiting the reuptake of dopamine into presynaptic nerve terminals. The therapeutic efficacy of tetrabenazine has been assessed in rat striatal slices as well as in clinical studies involving intent-to-treat populations with hepatic impairment or inhibitor drugs.
