Product Information
Carbonylchlorohydridoruthenium(II) is an organometallic compound that is a liquid at ambient temperature. It has been shown to be an efficient catalyst for the isomerization of benzene to phenol and for the chlorination of ethylene. Carbonylchlorohydridoruthenium(II) can be synthesized by refluxing chlorocarbonylrhodium with hydrocarbons such as benzene or ethylene. The elemental analysis of this compound shows that it consists of C, H, Cl, and Rh. Spectroscopy data show that the compound has a molecular weight of 312.5 g/mol, a boiling point of 233°C, and a density of 1.423 g/cm3.
