Product Information

Name:
PO-T2T
Description:

PO-T2T is a molecule that emits light when it undergoes a transition from the ground state to an excited state. It has been shown to have high values of thermally activated emission efficiencies and constant transport properties. The excitons in PO-T2T are generated by the interaction between electron-hole pairs, which can be systematic or non-systematic. Systematic interactions occur when the electron and hole are localized on either side of a potential barrier and are separated by a distance less than the exciton Bohr radius. Non-systematic interactions involve quantum mechanical tunneling across the barrier, which requires that the electron and hole be at different sites. The energy levels of these excitons correspond to their emission energies, with higher values corresponding to lower energies.
