Description:
Adlupulone is a synthetic chemical compound with the molecular formula C24H31NO4, which belongs to the class of fatty acids. It is an acidic substance that has a hydroxyl group and a chemical ionization mass spectrum with a peak at m/z (=203). The proton nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrum showed a signal at 3.2 ppm, corresponding to the hydroxyl group. Adlupulone was found in animal samples as well as in cell culture. The physiological effects of adlupulone are unknown and it has not been tested on humans.
