2-Methyl-3-(4-fluorophenyl) propanoic acid is a fatty acid that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other organic compounds. It can be found in nature, but it is not produced by any living organism. 2-Methyl-3-(4-fluorophenyl) propanoic acid has been shown to have bactericidal activity against a variety of bacteria, including Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
