Description:

1-(2-Chloroethanesulfonyl)-4-methylbenzene is a copper (II) complex with a sulfonyl group. It is an electron donor and can be used in the synthesis of organic compounds. The product has been found to produce adducts with chloromethyl, chloride, butadiene, ethylene, and substituents. This compound also undergoes dehydrochlorination reactions to produce chlorides. 1-(2-Chloroethanesulfonyl)-4-methylbenzene can be used as a functional group for norbornadiene or isomerisation reactions.
