Product Information
1,3-Dimethyl-2-phenyl-1,3,2-diazaphospholidine is a molecule that yields pharmacological activity. It has been shown to be a selective adenylyl cyclase activator in vitro and in vivo. This drug has been proposed as an antiviral agent for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. 1,3-Dimethyl-2-phenyl-1,3,2-diazaphospholidine binds to the active site of the enzyme adenylyl cyclase and is able to activate it with low affinity. This drug also shows high stereoselectivity and a catalytic activity that is higher than forskolin.
