Product Information

Name:
Erbium carbonate hydrate
Synonyms:
  • Erbium(+3) Cation Tricarbonate Hydrate
Description:

Erbium carbonate hydrate is a matrix material. It has a molecular structure that consists of polyurethane, hydroxonium and cyanate groups. Erbium carbonate hydrate is resistant to gaseous exposure and it is used in the production of polyurethane-based materials. The presence of both phenolic and magnesium groups make it an excellent candidate for use as a matrix material in vinyl-based products. The x-ray analysis showed that erbium carbonate hydrate has particulate properties which means it can be used as a filler in other materials or as an additive to improve the properties of other materials. Erbium carbonate hydrate is soluble in ethanol and x-rays are able to penetrate this compound because of its low density.
