Product Information

Name:
Kif15-IN-1
Description:

Kif15-IN-1 is a novel protein that has been shown to have prognostic value in cervical cancer. It has been shown to be involved in the transport of proteins within cells, and is required for axonal growth. Kif15-IN-1 was also found to play a role in cell cycle progression. This protein is a member of the kinesin family and appears to be involved in the regulation of cellular proliferation and survival through interactions with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). In addition, Kif15-IN-1 may contribute to the development of cancer by regulating cyclin A expression, which is important for DNA synthesis.

Kif15-IN-1 was found in logarithmic phase cell culture conditions, and it has been implicated as an oncogene. The protein's ability to bind EGFR suggests that it may be an important regulator of cellular proliferation. Kif15-IN-1 has also been implicated as a suppress
