3,4-Dihydro-2H,6H-pyrimido[1,2-c][1,3]benzothiazin-6-imine is an antiparasitic and antibiotic agent that is used in chemotherapy to treat a variety of microorganisms. It has been shown to be effective against viruses such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and herpes simplex virus (HSV). 3,4-Dihydro-2H,6H-pyrimido[1,2-c][1,3]benzothiazin-6-imine is also used to treat bacterial infections and fungal infections. This compound has the molecular formula C8H5N5S and a molecular weight of 191.24 g/mol. It has a melting point of 280°C (536°F) and can be found under CAS No. 72596-74-8.
