Product Information

Name:
Posaconazole-D-glucuronide
Description:

Posaconazole-D-glucuronide is an analog of posaconazole, a potent antifungal agent that has been shown to have anticancer properties. It has been found to induce apoptosis in cancer cells, particularly in Chinese hamster ovary cells and tumor cells. Posaconazole-D-glucuronide has also been shown to inhibit the activity of protein kinase C and luciferase, which are involved in cell signaling and gene expression. This compound is a potent inhibitor of several kinases that play a role in cancer growth and proliferation. Posaconazole-D-glucuronide is excreted in urine after administration of the prodrug mannitol, making it a promising candidate for urinary tract cancer therapy.
