Product Information
Julolidine-9-carbonitrile is a fluorescent compound that emits light when excited. It has a planar conformation and is adsorbed to the surface of the sample. The fluorescence wavelength is 605 nm and its emission wavelength is 620 nm. The quantum yield at room temperature is 0.01 and the luminescence intensity increases with decreasing temperature. Julolidine-9-carbonitrile can be used as a marker for organic compounds in low concentrations, such as nitrate, sulfate, or phosphate ions.
