Description:
The palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of 1,3,5,7-tetramethyl-6-phenyl-2,4,8-trioxa-6-phosphaadamantane with aryl boronic acids is efficient and selective. This ligand can be used to alkylate aryl boronic acids via the palladium cross-coupling reaction. The ligand has been shown to be an optimal catalyst for the synthesis of tyrosine phosphatases. It is also known to have anticancer activity.
