Description

Isosakuranetin dihydrochalcone is a flavonoid that inhibits the growth of bacteria by acting as a competitive inhibitor of the enzyme methicillin-resistant. The compound binds to the active site of the enzyme, blocking access and inhibiting its activity. Isosakuranetin dihydrochalcone has been shown to be effective against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Streptococcus pneumoniae. It also has antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria such as Enterococcus faecalis and Bacillus subtilis.
