Product Information
3-Bromo-9,9-diphenyl-9H-fluorene (3BPF) is an organic compound that belongs to the group of phenanthrene derivatives. It has been used as a fluorescence probe for studying the transport and charge transfer properties of planar heterojunction organic field effect transistors. 3BPF has also been studied in thermogravimetric analysis and cyclic voltammetry, which have shown its high thermal stability and ionization potential. 3BPF has been synthesized by the reaction of triphenylamine with bromine in the presence of potassium iodide in acetic acid.
