Product Information
1H-Pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine is a drug that inhibits the inflammatory response. It has been shown to inhibit the production of cytokines and prostaglandins in vitro, as well as to suppress locomotor activity and ameliorate symptoms in an animal model of multiple sclerosis. The drug also binds to cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2, but does not exhibit any agonist activity. 1H-Pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine is metabolized by glucuronidation and forms a conjugate with glucuronic acid. This drug has been shown to be effective against hepatic steatosis and metabolic disorders in vivo models.
