Product Information
CycLuc 1 is a bioluminescent probe that has been designed to detect cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) activity in living cells. CycLuc 1 is a derivative of firefly luciferase and can be used as a reporter gene for in vitro drug transporter studies, histological analysis and in vivo imaging. CycLuc 1 has been shown to be sensitive and specific for CDK2, and the signal generated by CycLuc 1 is proportional to the level of CDK2 activity. This probe can also be used to monitor HIV infection, with it being sensitive to infected cells and not detecting any signal from uninfected cells. The light signal emitted by CycLuc 1 can be detected using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
