Product Information
Methyl 2-ethoxy-1-naphthoate is an inhibitor molecule that has been shown to inhibit the replication of DNA. It binds to the nucleotide bases and blocks the synthesis of DNA. Methyl 2-ethoxy-1-naphthoate can be used for the treatment of infectious diseases such as tuberculosis. This compound has been shown to have a high resistance to methyl myristate, anhydrous sodium, and acute toxicities in mice. It also inhibits locomotor activity in mice and has been shown to reduce the number of metastatic lesions in miapaca-2 cells.
