Product Information
IKK inhibitor VII is a small molecule that is an inhibitor of the IKK protein, which is involved in the activation of NF-κB and AP-1. It has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6. IKK inhibitor VII has also been shown to block the activation of NF-κB in activated human T cells. The inhibition of NF-κB by IKK inhibitor VII leads to decreased levels of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines such as IL-8, MCP-1, MIP-1β, IP10 and RANTES. This compound is a potent activator of PPARγ that induces apoptosis in various cancer cell lines.
